About Ejerblik

Read the story of Ejerblik

The ambition: a digital overview before problems arise, and control before it costs.

The background

The problem no one talks about

Ejerblik was built from a very concrete reality that most owner-managers recognise, but few talk about openly.

Almost every company has its finances, its customers and its daily operations under control. But when it comes to the company's digital assets and intellectual property, it often falls short. Access is scattered. Ownership is unclear. Systems keep running with no overview. And the dependence on individuals and suppliers is greater than anyone is comfortable with.

It is not something you feel day to day.

It is something you feel when things go wrong.

The starting point

Experience from the real world

The idea for Ejerblik came out of many years of working with and for owner-managed companies. It became clear that even well-run companies often lack a single overview of their digital foundation. Critical access sits with former employees. IT suppliers own data they should not own. Unused subscriptions carry on unchecked with no owner. And documentation only becomes something people ask for when an investor or the insurer knocks on the door, or when something critical breaks down in the company.

The PDF that did not solve the problem

The first attempt was a simple PDF guide. A practical overview to help owner-managers map their assets. But it quickly became clear that the problem could not be solved with a document. It needed a tool that could be used actively, day to day.

The turning point

A simple realisation

The turning point came with a simple realisation:

If owner-managers are to have a grip on their digital assets, it has to be as accessible and tangible as their finances.

That is why Ejerblik was built.

The platform

Ejerblik today

Ejerblik is an easy-to-use platform built for owner-managers, to give a single overview of the company's digital and intellectual assets. Here you can map, document and secure ownership of the systems, data and access that in practice form the backbone of the business. It is not about technology for its own sake, but about creating control, reducing risk and making sure the company is not left exposed when it really matters.

The platform was built with one clear focus: to make the complex understandable and actionable. Ejerblik is built for owner-managers, not for the IT manager. The language is plain, the structure is workable, and the purpose is clear: peace of mind and a grip on what would otherwise only be discovered when it is too late.

Owner Check

A reality check

As part of the platform there is a free Owner Check, where in a few minutes you get an indication of how well you actually have a grip on your most important assets across IT, marketing, sales, HR, operations and finance. For many, this is where the realisation starts.

Take your Owner Check
The consequence

Why it matters

Because a lack of overview is not just a practical problem.

It is a business risk.

  • It can cost you access to critical systems.
  • It can reduce the value in a sale of the company.
  • It makes it hard to meet legal requirements such as NIS2, which requires a documented IT risk assessment with a complete overview of assets.
  • And it can cause needless downtime, financial loss and a poor reputation in the market.

Ejerblik was built to remove that risk. Not with more systems or more complexity, but with one single overview of what actually matters most.

The founder

Jacob Lysholt

18 years with owner-managers, business, communication and digitalisation

Jacob has worked with marketing, communication, digitalisation and business development since 2008, aimed at the professional market. His experience spans the food, IT and legal sectors as well as the agency and consultancy world.

Throughout his career he has worked with or for owner-managed companies. That work has made a pattern clear: owner-managed companies rarely lack ambition. They lack ownership and an overview of the digital foundation that carries the business.

Ejerblik is the answer to that realisation.
